Who are we?

Our History and Our Mission

For many years simply part of our everyday lives, acquired during winters in Egypt and on the Continent, our Egyptian things were brought home with little thought that they could ever form a collection as such.

Originally housed in various places around our home including the family library, the younger members of the family have continued to add further pieces. And since they are more aware of the growing fascination for such things (and are far more familiar with the internet), they are now bringing everything together online for a wider audience.

Although for now our family wish to remain anonymous since our house is the family home, our Museum of Egyptomania may one day become a physical entity, possibly even here in our house. Yet we do want to share our collection as widely as possible, so please feel free to explore it virtually in your own home.
